Around four thousand participants are set to take part in the second edition of the Time Brasil Run, scheduled for next Sunday (17) at the Olympic Park in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro. In addition to the 3km, 5km, and 10km races, the event will feature activations from sports federations and sponsors, interactive moments with athletes, and live performances by DJ and runner Camila Brunetta as well as singer and snowboarder Pat Burgener.

Camila Brunetta, who has a decade-long career, typically delivers a setlist with Brazilian influences blending funk and pop—from current hits to 1990s and 2000s classics. She gained wider recognition in 2020 with her remix of “Várias Queixas” by the trio Gilsons and has performed at major events like Lollapalooza.

Swiss-Brazilian Patrick Burgener explores indie, folk, and acoustic pop in his original work, often accompanied by guitar and harmonica. Since becoming a naturalized Brazilian, the snowboarder—who represented Brazil in the men’s halfpipe at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics—has incorporated bossa nova and Brazilian music into his recent projects.

“Music also helps me a lot in sports. When I started playing, many people told me, ‘What are you doing? Music is a distraction, you can’t do sports and music.’ But I feel an incredible energy in music that helps me perform better in sports. It gives me the calm I need,” Pat said in an interview with Team Brazil.

Camila Brunetta will perform two sets: the first at 7:45 a.m., before the award ceremony. After the medal presentation at 10:20 a.m., Pat Burgener takes the stage to showcase his musical repertoire. Brunetta returns to the DJ booth at 11 a.m. to close the day. Race registrations are already sold out.

Two-time world champion and South American pole vault record holder Fabiana Murer will lead warm-ups for the 10km and 5km routes, scheduled to start at 6:30 a.m. and 7:15 a.m., respectively—30 minutes before each race begins.

From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., attendees can enjoy activities organized by partner sports federations and event sponsors. These include an interactive speed-testing track, e-sports activations with virtual running and rowing experiences, exclusive guest areas, a photo booth, and an official store featuring Team Brazil merchandise.

Confirmed participants include several notable figures from Brazil’s Olympic scene, adding to the event’s appeal.
