Galatasaray head coach Okan Buruk has added another trophy to his collection, securing his eighth career title after winning the 2025-2026 Süper Lig championship. This marks his fourth consecutive league title, a remarkable achievement that elevates him further in Turkish football history. 
Buruk now holds five Süper Lig titles in total, with four of them coming in successive seasons at Galatasaray (2022-2023, 2023-2024, 2024-2025, 2025-2026) and his first won with Başakşehir in the 2019-2020 campaign. He has also won two Turkish Cups and one Turkish Super Cup, bringing his overall tally to eight trophies.
With this performance, Buruk has moved to third place on the list of Turkish managers with the most trophies, steadily closing the gap on leaders. At the top is Fatih Terim, regarded as Turkey’s most successful coach, with a total of 16 trophies: one UEFA Cup, eight Süper Lig titles, three Turkish Cups, and five Turkish Super Cups.
Second on the list is Trabzonspor legend Ahmet Suat Özyazıcı, who accumulated 12 trophies during his career: four Süper Lig titles, three Turkish Cups, five Turkish Super Cups, and one Balkan Cup. Other notable managers include Mustafa Denizli and Muhsin Ertuğral with seven trophies each, Şenol Güneş and Gündüz Kılıç with six each, and Özkan Sümer with five.
