Six-time Premier League champion John Stones could be among the notable departures from Manchester City this summer.

When Harry Maguire extended his stay at Manchester United earlier this month, the experienced England defender removed himself from the list of potential free agents. Several high-profile Premier League players have already confirmed they will leave when their contracts expire, including Manchester City captain Bernardo Silva, Liverpool’s Andy Robertson, Newcastle United’s Kieran Trippier, and Casemiro, Maguire’s teammate.

However, the futures of many senior players remain unresolved as the league season enters its final five weeks. From returning loanees to standout performers likely to attract interest elsewhere, BBC Sport examines more than 60 players who could be moving clubs in June.

**Arsenal**

Mikel Arteta has little to worry about regarding expiring contracts. Estonia goalkeeper Karl Hein, 24, who made his only senior appearance for the Gunners in a 2022 League Cup fixture, is the sole player out of contract. Hein has been on loan at Werder Bremen this season, following previous stints at Reading and Real Valladolid.

**Aston Villa**

Unai Emery faces no immediate contract concerns, with all first-team squad members tied to deals until at least 2027. There was speculation that Ross Barkley, 32, would be out of contract this summer, but it is understood the former England midfielder signed a three-year deal when he joined from Luton Town in July 2024.

**Bournemouth**

Head coach Andoni Iraola will definitely leave Vitality Stadium in a few weeks. His successor, Marco Rose, will be eager to retain defender Marcos Senesi. The impressive Argentine, 28, has started every league game this season except one (due to suspension) but has already rejected three contract offers from Bournemouth amid reported interest from Juventus and several Premier League clubs. Third-choice keeper Fraser Forster, 38, has not featured for Bournemouth since signing a six-month deal in January.

Boss Keith Andrews could avoid replacing a significant amount of Premier League experience by triggering extensions for three players. Jamaica left-back Rico Henry, 28, has delivered sparkling performances in the Bees’ push for Europe, and the club have an option to extend his stay by a year, similar to midfielders Mathias Jensen, 30, and Josh Dasilva, 27, who received a short-term deal in October as he recovers from three injury-plagued seasons.

**Brighton & Hove Albion**

Brighton stand to lose considerable top-flight experience this summer. James Milner, 40, now the leading appearance maker in Premier League history, remains influential but undecided about his future. Defenders Adam Webster, 31, and Joel Veltman, 34, could also become free agents. Webster, sidelined since July 2025 with a serious ACL injury, has publicly expressed his desire to stay. Winger Solly March, 31, another long-serving player hampered by knee injuries, has struggled for game time over the past three campaigns. Lewis Dunk’s contract was due to expire this summer, but BBC Sport understands the 34-year-old has triggered a one-year extension.
