Former AC Milan youth prodigy Antonio Campion has been found dead in his bed at the age of 44. His wife, Elisa Zorzetto, discovered his body at their home in Treviso.

Campion, a promising defender in AC Milan’s youth system during the 1990s, passed away due to a “sudden medical event during the night, which presumably led to a cardiac arrest,” authorities reported.
After failing to break into professional football, Campion shifted his career to law, working at the Viale Cairoli law firm.

“It was 2003 when Antonio Campion arrived from Conegliano. He joined the team where I was sporting director, standing out for his short stature but agility—a player who, on a good day, could almost single-handedly change the course of a match,” recalled Stefano Bof, former sporting director at Mareno di Piave.
Antonio Campion was the son of renowned criminal lawyer Roberto Campion.
