Ya están configurados los play-in y playoffs de la Euroliga

The EuroLeague regular season has come to a close after a long and grueling 38-game journey. Of the 20 teams that started the tournament for the first time, half have been eliminated. Six clubs advanced straight to the playoffs, while four fought for their spot in the preliminary round—the so-called play-in—to earn a place in the quarterfinals ahead of the Final Four.

Following the conclusion of this new-look EuroLeague, which for the first time featured 20 clubs in the 25/26 season, ten teams were cut. Among them was Baskonia, which never showed any sign of competing with the top sides.

The teams that finished between 7th and 10th place in the regular season entered the play-in. The 7th and 8th seeds—this year Panathinaikos and Monaco—played a single game in Athens for a place in the quarterfinals. The winner (Panathinaikos) advanced as the 7th seed.

The loser, Monaco, still had a chance to qualify. They hosted the winner of the matchup between the 9th and 10th seeds—Barcelona and Red Star—which Barcelona won, eliminating the Serbian side. In the final play-in game, Monaco made home court count, defeating Barcelona to secure the 8th seed in the EuroLeague playoffs.
